01Luxury travel

There is no catalogue behind this page. Every journey starts from a blank sheet and the same first question: who is travelling, and what would ruin it for them?

We design private journeys across Italy for people who are not shopping for a tour. Families with three generations and three different paces. Couples with two weeks and no interest in a bus. Groups of friends who want a house, a cook and nobody else in the building.

What we sell is not a route — routes are easy. It is the ability to open a door: a cellar that receives nobody, a workshop where something is still made by hand, a table in a house rather than a restaurant, a museum an hour before it opens. That comes from thirty years of relationships, and it is the part that cannot be bought online at any price.

To your first proposal

We do not do volume. A limited number of journeys at a time, each with one designer attached from first sketch to the flight home.

02What you get

The difference is the access.

Doors, not tickets

Private openings, closed kitchens, family cellars, working workshops. Arranged, not queued for.

Hosts worth the evening

Historians, chefs, winemakers, restorers and captains we would invite to our own table.

Houses and rooms

Villas taken whole, hotels we know room by room, and the difference between a good room and the room.

One designer

The same person from first sketch to the flight home. No handovers, no call centre.

In-trip concierge

One thread, answered by a person in Rome, for anything from a change of plan to a fourth seat at dinner.

Itemized costs

You see the price of every element and can remove any of them. No opaque package price.

03How it works

A conversation, then a sketch.

01

The conversation

Who is travelling, how they like to spend a day, what they have already seen, and what would spoil it. Twenty minutes, and it shapes everything after.

02

The first sketch

Within 48 hours: a route, houses, the experiences we would build it around, and every cost on its own line.

03

Your edits

You cut what you do not want and we rebuild. Most journeys go through two or three versions.

04

On the ground

Drivers, guides and hosts briefed on you specifically, and one number in Rome for the whole trip.

04Questions we’re actually asked

Do you sell fixed itineraries or packages?

Neither. Everything is drawn from a blank sheet for one party. The itinerary ideas published on this site are sketches meant to start a conversation — no two versions of any of them have ever left the studio the same.

How far ahead should we plan?

Six to nine months for high season and for the houses worth waiting for. Shorter is possible — we have built good journeys in a month — but the specific villa or the specific table may not be.

Do you work with travel advisors?

Yes, regularly, and in white label when the advisor prefers it. Their client relationship stays theirs.

What does a journey cost?

It depends on the party and the season, and any figure quoted before a conversation would be invented. What we can commit to is that the first proposal itemizes every element, so you can see the shape of the budget and move it.

05Next step

Tell us who is travelling.

Who is coming, roughly when, and what would make it worth remembering. A first itemized proposal comes back within 48 hours.
